19 February 2020

My day started out rather like a difficult struggle with the non-moveable things that I come up against as usual.  I tried to see if I could get a few things (bills) paid and these were somehow having problems getting accepted.  I was immediately suspecting something that was beyond my control.  Then I finally gave into the urge to call the bank. It was, after all, half past nine a.m.  So the woman at the bank said they might be able to help me better if I went there in person and got money out.

So I bundled the dogs and asked Dad to drive us to the bank.  The bank lady was nice enough and then as an afterthought (after I stuffed some cash into my wallet) said she needed to see my debit card.  Finally, after some thought and research on her part, she said, Oh your debit card has been cancelled.  I was slightly surprised, but then I came to me that there was a largish overdraft on it. She said she was going to inquire about it.  I didn't really listen, but I took some sort of comfort in a lemon drop that was wrapped in some plastic that she served next to her booth. She finaly said they will reverse the cancellation tomorrow but I ought to call them first to see. She also said they wanted to see if in 24 hours the balance on my account didn't go south again like it had before my social security check was deposited into my account today.

I was grateful enough and toddled off to join the family.  I requested that Dad take me to the nearest Sbux and I asked for a nitro brew and felt rather like a regular again as I sat there.  But I might say there was a slight tinge of some hurty thoughts.   So I went out to the car and we drove away to the nearest grocery store so that Dad and I could find some stuff.  I bought the dog a collar and a leash.  Then I bought cat food, some other stuff nothing too unique.

Business:

1.  I joined Thirty-One Gifts today.  I'm rather excited.

2.  I bought more merchandise from LLR.  I'm also excited by this.

3.  Posted a Tweet or Instagram post on LLR.

4.  Then after that I wasn't feeling too well and went for a nap.  Then I decided to seek some support systems but did not get any from any where we went after i roused Dad from his stupor in his recliner. You see, he drives me all the time wherever I wish to go.

Support system as in a religious place like the churches in town.  We went to one called Bethlehem Lutheran church but it was quite empty and closed. Then we went to another called Federated Church but only found two women, both rather friendly.  One of them invited me to their soup and bread gathering tonight.  Not quite ready to say yes, so I merely demurred.

They gave me a few brochures. The lady in the desk told me they had services at 10:30 on Sunday.  She wanted to say they needed more young families. I coudn't say anything about that.

If I don't feel any better tomorrow I might not go online.

Oh, btw, the Tutoring seems to be lagging and so I'm not putting my hopes up for that.

Book sales aren't doing much. I have sent off a couple of giveaway books the other day.

Not sure I'll have more to say for the time being.
