Update:
I've asked about selling Mary Kay and the sales consultant gave me information. I downloaded one of their catalogs. The fee to get their starter kit is $100. It will have enough, she said, to sell to customers - to make up I think she said 50 faces. Or 50 customers who want to have the cosmetics.
The MK website said it is possible to make 50% of each sale. As a commission, I guess.
They talk about putting God first, family next and career third.
The person I texted with is in Plainfield.
As for the house I asked my stepDad what about renting a house. In Indianapolis. He said it is a difficult thing to get a house to be rented for a low rent. He then said if you can find a house that's rentable for $1000 that might be ok. I went to Zillow and saw three houses that were around $1K a month rent. One didn't accept pets. The other did. I sent both houses (I don't know why I did not get the third one sent) to Dad's email address. He's not discussed it with me.
I've no more feedback from people from any emails sent today about the businesses I am in. I had the thought of sending something like a sign up landing page to get more contacts. then I also sent some contacts emails about my new project, the Beanie hat. This hasn't gotten me any replies so far. Still early I guess. I tried Ship Easy (the same shipping co that LLR uses for their office) to see about sending newsletters. They tend to get a bit metric about the click rate and open rates for the emails. Just not that into them at this time. I'm doing my own email thing.
Went for a walk with the dogs but felt uneasy when i heard a barking dog somewhere near the intersection of our street and the cross street. Dog 1 is happy about coming along. Dog 2 seems overly happy and is not that good yet on the leash.
