Updates:
1. Writing - started a new story yesterday.
2. Yarning - continued with the beanies.
3. Sewing - have cutouts for the patchwork design I'm making. Today I pinned the cutout fabric to interfacing. I set those aside. I seem to have a resistant thought or two about sewing. I'm not sure why. It's a fearful thought. It seems to come from a few unrelated people in my mind's thoughts. One of them is Lee Trevor Winnett, and the other one is Jane Bareng. Jane and her team of nurses who came to live in Indiana one time in our family's past pooled money to buy me a sewing machine for my birthday. I never really got on well with that machine because it had problems and I couldn't solve them then. I think that machine is now done away with. My new machine is supposed to be in a good condition to do anything. I got it from a dear Love for Christmas. The machine should not be any different from any machine in the sewing world for those people who have simple needs. It isn't a serger. It isn't a huge quilting thing. It's a machine to sew. I've got some books too, for reference. I don't know what I'll sew but I want to sew a few things like: face masks, scrubs, caps for surgeons (or other surgical personnel), some flowy dresses, some pants, some tops, some baby things - all to sell and for my own use too. I think sewingis a good hobby. It will save money and it will teach me to rely on my creativity. I think it will serve me well. I pray that this machine will be good to use. I mean no harm in sewing. I just want to try to sew again. I took two lessons several years apart in sewing. So I know something about sewing dresses and pants. I don't know much about zippers but I'd like to learn too.
4. Other things - nothing much to say more about. LuLaRoe is a past job. So is Mary Kay. Those two businesses are not great for someone like me. I'm not an enterprising person who wants to 'meet' customers and video myself putting on some makeup or doing a virtual make up session. I'm not good with meeting strangers. I am a private person. That's all.
